As a leading independent research specialist, their services combine global coverage with tactical implementation. An opportunity has now arisen for a Senior Researcher to join their multi-cultural team. This role would suit someone with proven research experience gained within a commercial position, or from university studies (or equivalent). As a Senior Researcher your role will focus on delivering accurate research on IT companies, and managing the Research team. Specifically, you will be responsible for planning and executing research, whilst successfully delivering projects for the company's clients. This will require an intelligent and enthusiastic researcher who can balance a common sense approach with persistence, and can produce outstanding results for customers. This role has significant potential for knowledge and skills development within the industry. To be considered for this position, you must have: - research experience - gained within a commercial role, from university studies (or equivalent) or similar - a good level of IT literacy, including Google Search, MS Office, MS Project and databases - good research skills, including the ability to scan websites/magazines, analyse them and extract relevant information Additionally, as a Senior Researcher you should be an excellent communicator with attention to detail and good oral and written English communication skills (minimum of GCSE level, or equivalent). Whilst not essential, experience of leading a team would be beneficial to your application, as would knowledge of the IT industry, for example the major industry companies and their markets.
