Project Engineer - Agricultural / Construction Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk Up to £40,000 Package (including potential company car) Established for over 60 years, our client is a specialist agricultural engineering business. Primarily involved in the design and construction of facilities for handling and storage of arable products, they are one of the most trusted names in the business. An opportunity has arisen for a Project Engineer as a result of an impending retirement. This is a great opportunity for an individual looking for the challenge of handling projects from initial inception through to final completion. Joining an existing team, as a Project Engineer your responsibilities will include: - Visiting the client's location to conduct surveys and assess requirements - Using AutoCAD to design installations - Estimating, pricing and preparing quotations and proposals - Managing the contract and overseeing the project Whilst it will be beneficial to have experience in all aspects of the role, our client will offer training and will allocate duties depending on your skill set. To be considered for the role, you will need excellent PC skills and proven project engineering experience. You must also have a background within any of the following sectors: - Bulk handling - Agriculture or arable products - Steel fabrication - Contracting or construction - Health and Safety The ideal Project Engineer will also have a familiarity with AutoCAD and a keen interest in agriculture.
