Sustainable Construction Engineer / Consultant - Eco Building Consultancy London SE1 £24,000 - £32,000 Our client is a small, dynamic, eco-building consultancy providing services to the professional construction industry. They are now looking to recruit a Sustainable Construction Engineer / Consultant to join their team. In this role you will be responsible for conducting sustainability assessments, using BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method), and producing the associated eco-building consulting services and reports (Part L reports, EPCs and Renewable Energy reports). Working as part of a team, as a Sustainable Construction Engineer / Consultant your role will involve: - conducting BREEAM, Code for Sustainable Homes and Part L/EPC energy assessments - providing sustainability advice for domestic and non-domestic buildings - undertaking renewable energy analysis and calculations - maintaining regular and good contact with clients - attending client project meetings To be considered for the role of Sustainable Construction Engineer / Consultant you must have proven experience in a similar position. Although not essential, the ideal candidate will have an engineering or sustainable construction degree (or equivalent), an LCEA accreditation (TAS, Level 5 EPC) and have experience with BREEAM. You will also need excellent analytical, communication and organisational skills as well as a dynamic, positive, and pro-active work attitude.
