Working with big name companies such as Microsoft, Thomas Cook and Barclays, they have highly trained staff, who can understand their client's needs. An opportunity has arisen for a Recruitment Consultant to join their team. This role would suit an experienced sales executive, ideally from the IT industry, looking to develop their career and earning potential. As a Recruitment Consultant, you will be responsible for the entire recruitment process, working within the IT and IT sales sector. This position will involve canvassing new roles, proactively searching for candidates, short listing and preparing CVs to forward to clients. You will also advertise vacancies using a wide range of media, organise interviews, and check the suitability of applicants. Your duties will also include: - Developing a good understanding of client companies - Identifying and approaching suitable candidates - Negotiating pay and salary rates and offering advice to both clients and candidates - Applying marketing techniques and networking to attract business from client companies To be considered for the role of Recruitment Consultant, you will need previous sales experience, ideally within the IT industry. Additionally, you will need to be enthusiastic, tenacious and driven, with the ability to hit and exceed your targets. You must also have excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with your clients. While not essential, the ideal candidate will have a background as an IT recruitment consultant.
