Customer Service Manager
Ashbourne, Derbyshire
c£25,000 Plus Bonus DOE, Company Pension, 25 Days' Holiday
Our client is a manufacturing business that supplies powered mechanical machines for moving and handling heavy wheeled loads. Their products are used in aerospace to hospitals, so variety and service is a major part of their daily business. As part of their continuous improvement and growth strategy, an opportunity has now arisen for a Customer Service Manager to join their team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a customer services professional to join a growing manufacturing company with a high profile worldwide customer base.
As the Customer Service Manager you will be responsible for managing a junior member of staff, handling initial enquiries and sending out engineers to client sites (service co-ordination). In effect, you will manage the department, which means you should be an excellent communicator with high standards.
Your duties will include:
- managing and communicating excellent service to the global customer base
- providing on-going maintenance service contracts
- communicating with field service engineers
- managing and training other team members
- generating weekly performance reports
To be considered for this position, you must have customer service management experience, for example gained within a call centre/contact sector. You will also need to demonstrate top class communication skills and a self motivated approach.
Additionally, as a Customer Service Manager you should also have a personable approach, the ability to work in a team and the effective relationship building abilities.
