Telesales Supervisor / Telesales Team Leader
Normanton, near Wakefield

Our client represents a group of companies; two of the internal trading divisions of the group supply and distribute a wide range of domestic electrical appliances, including refrigeration products. They provide retailers with the ultimate in choice, customer service and value for money. An opportunity has arisen for a Telesales Supervisor / Telesales Team Leader to join their team.
This is the ideal role for a telesales professional with management experience, looking to develop their career within a large and successful company.
As a Telesales Supervisor / Telesales Team Leader you will be responsible for motivating and managing your team, and managing telesales activities on behalf of the two internal trading divisions within the group.
In this role, you will be cold calling and taking orders from new and existing customers. You will also be tasked with developing marketing initiatives, lead tracking and updating the customer record system.
This position will involve a combination of account management and new business development. You will be expected to lead by example and consistently demonstrate excellent sales skills and a strong work ethic.
Your duties will include:
- Conducting briefings, meetings and one to one coaching sessions with your team
- Promoting and encouraging good account management practices
- Working with the senior sales management team to set individual and team targets
- Monitoring the telesales team's calls for quality and quantity
To be considered for this role, you must have a proven track record in telesales. You will also need previous experience in sales management.
The ideal Telesales Supervisor / Telesales Team Leader will have experience of selling white and brown goods or electrical products, although candidates without this will still be considered.
