Book and Gift Distributor - Self Employed Opportunity (Full Time) Worcester (Home/Field Based) - Covering Worcester, Hereford, Great Malvern, Ross-on-Wye £28,000 Typical Earnings Are you looking to combine your great customer service skills with your love of books, in a self employed role? If so, this could be the opportunity for you. Established in 1991, our client is a leading book group, supplying over 340 distributors across the UK and Ireland. They are now looking to recruit a Book and Gift Distributor on a self employed basis. This unique opportunity allows individuals to run their own local book and gift selling business. It's a full time, self employed challenge, but with one significant difference: no upfront cash investment is required. You simply pay for the stock as it is sold to your customers, making this a truly cash-positive business from day one, with low overheads and great potential for profit. An extensive one day training course will also be provided, as will ongoing support from an experienced Field Manager, who'll be on hand to keep you up-to-date and guide you. As a Book and Gift Distributor you will be supported from behind the scenes by the industry's most experienced buying team, who source the latest titles and products and observe key market trends. This allows you to devote your time to promoting and marketing the service you provide to the local working community, finding new customers and providing a great service to your existing ones. Stock deliveries are made to your dedicated storage location each week, ensuring that you have sufficient quantities of books to meet market demand. To be considered you must have: - Experience in a customer-facing role - A love of books - A consistent employment history - Motivation and determination to succeed - Excellent organisational skills The essential tools required for your business are a reliable, suitable vehicle such as a medium size van or a large MPV, and dry and secure storage for the stock, e.g. a single garage.
