Manufacturing Operations Technician
London N1
c£20,000 DOE Plus Discretionary Annual Bonus Scheme (up to 10% subject to performance objectives), 25 Days' Holiday, Share Option Scheme, Stakeholder Pension Scheme, Childcare Vouchers
Our client is a fast growing medical technology company, listed on AIM. Their principal product is specialist cardiac monitoring systems and worldwide sales are growing rapidly. An opportunity has now arisen for a Manufacturing Operations Technician to join their team.
This is role would suit someone with an interest in light, high tech manufacturing, electronics or computing, looking to join a high growth company early in its development.
As a Manufacturing Operations Technician you will be responsible for:
- Sensor manufacturing within the Production clean room
- Inspecting, testing and loading software to computer monitors
- Processing customer returns including some minor repairs
- Preparing, packing and shipping sales orders
You will also be involved preparing items for the finished goods inventory, receiving and booking in deliveries, and arranging couriers. Comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided.
Whilst previous experience is not needed for this role, at a minimum however, you must have:
- At a minimum, a GCSE (or equivalent) in English, Maths, Science or IT
- A good level of PC literacy
- A good standard of verbal and written English
Additionally, as a Manufacturing Operations Technician you should be a practical, ‘hands-on' person with good organisational skills and a good work ethic. You should also be a quick learner.
Whilst not essential, a degree (or equivalent) would be beneficial to your application, as would any experience of working in the manufacturing industry.
