As a globally respected, team-based organisation with a solid history of success built up over 140 years, they are driven by forward-thinking design and technical excellence. An opportunity has now arisen for a Marketing Manager to join their team in Andover.

This exciting role would suit a professional and ambitious marketing professional looking to further develop their career with a world class organisation.

Reporting to the Managing Director, in this new role you will be responsible for managing the marketing function on behalf of three of the company's divisions within the UK markets.

As the Marketing Manager your main duties will include:

- Ensuring marketing communications and activities are aligned with Group brand activities
- Working with the external agency on the development of literature, website layout, advertising and PR
- Supporting sales teams and trade customers
- Understanding customer needs and seeking customer feedback
- Developing an understanding of competitors' products and services, and relevant market channels/segments
- Developing and implementing budgets

To be considered for this position, you will be an experienced Marketing Manager with exceptional communication skills. You must also have a degree (or equivalent), ideally in marketing, coupled with a good level of numeracy and literacy.

Previous experience in an engineering related field would be a distinct advantage; as would experience in website development and/or a marketing qualification (CIM, DIM).
