Service Support Centre Manager - Hire/Construction Industry
Position available in the North West, Yorkshire and the Midlands

Our client is one of the UK's largest equipment rental companies. Across more than 200 locations, they offer a vast range of equipment for hire - from power tools, cement mixers and excavators to compressors and scissor lifts. An opportunity has now arisen for a Service Support Centre Manager to join their team.
This role would suit an experienced Service Support Centre Manager with a background within the hire or construction industry, looking for a rewarding and challenging position.
In this role you will be responsible for the overall operation of one of our client's Service Support Centres, as well as centrally co-ordinating all service engineers to attend all breakdowns within the North West, Yorkshire and the Midlands.
With support from the Company's senior leadership team, as the Service Support Centre Manager you will be accountable for:
- Managing and developing the Service Support Centre team and engineers to ensure a quality service is provided to customers
- Establishing and maintaining high levels of operational performance
- Supporting the strategic growth objectives and maintain customer satisfaction
- Ensuring 100% compliance with Health and Safety policies and procedures
To be considered for this position, you must have a demonstrable track record of developing and maintaining a high performance operation. Ideally this will be from within the hire or construction industry.
Additionally, as the Service Support Centre Manager you must have proficiency using Outlook, Word, Excel and Internet Explorer and a sound knowledge of health and safety.
Experience of managing a team of people would be beneficial to your application, as would an understanding of financial management and/or experience of working within a profit and loss environment.
The company is a reputable national brand with offices throughout the UK. This role can be based in any of their offices in the North West, Yorkshire and the Midlands.
