Due to ongoing growth and continued success, they now urgently require a reliable and motivated 2nd Line Support Analyst / IT Support Engineer to join their team.

2nd Line Support Analyst / IT Support Engineer - Software, Hardware & Network Support, VB6 Lincoln £15,000 - £20,000 DOE Since 1974, our client has been supplying double glazing throughout the UK. Due to ongoing growth and continued success, they now urgently require a reliable and motivated 2nd Line Support Analyst / IT Support Engineer to join their team. Joining the IT department, in this role you will be responsible for providing 2nd line IT support to internal staff, as well as developing the company's internal systems, using MS Access and VB6. Our client develops and maintains their own IT systems, which means the successful 2nd Line Support Analyst / IT Support Engineer will get exposure to the latest technology and gain excellent technical skills. To be considered for this position, you must have experience with the following: - software support (Microsoft Windows / Office) - hardware support (building/upgrading PCs / printers) - Ethernet TCP/IP networking - MS Access / Visual Basic 6 Additionally, as a 2nd Line Support Analyst / IT Support Engineer you should be a team player with excellent communication skills. Equally as important is a highly organised approach and ability to deliver a high level of customer service. Whilst not essential, knowledge of, or exposure to, the following would be beneficial: VB.NET programming, SQL Server/ODBC, ASP.NET, Crystal Reports.
