Office Assistant / Administrator
London EC2
£18,000 Plus 25 Days' Holiday
Our client is a leading product design company. Specialising in innovative gifts, they're known for their fun product concepts and ability to transform ideas into exciting new consumer products. An opportunity has now arisen for an Office Assistant / Administrator to join their team.
This highly varied and rewarding role would suit an experienced administrator with excellent communication skills and a willingness to play a hands-on position. For the right person, there is great scope for career development.
As an Office Assistant / Administrator you will be responsible for supporting the team with administrative duties, covering operations, buying and finance tasks.
This will involve:
- collecting and dispatching office post
- answering customer queries, via the phone and email
- processing new sales orders, entering onto the system and providing feedback and updates to the sales team
- processing orders for dispatch, and checking all supplier invoices each week
- ordering all office stationery
- ensuring system and warehouse stock levels are accurate
- assisting the finance department, particular with credit control, credit card processing and issuing credit notes
To be considered for this position, you must have administration experience, excellent communication skills and a good level of computer literacy. A degree (or equivalent) would be beneficial to your application.
Additionally, the Office Assistant / Administrator you will need to demonstrate a professional telephone manner, organised approach and the ability to work in a team environment.
