Buyer / Procurement & Trading Executive - International Procurement (Engineering/Technical Products) Winchester £20,000 - £30,000 DOE Our client provides procurement and procurement consultancy services to development projects of all sizes, throughout the world. Based in Winchester, they operate as a supplier, procurement agent and procurement consultancy. An opportunity has now arisen for a Buyer / Procurement & Trading Executive to join their team. In this role you will be responsible for maintaining and developing the company's market share in Africa and other developing regions. Reporting to the General Manager, you will be tasked with working with new and existing accounts, by sourcing products, negotiating prices and preparing quotations. As a Buyer / Procurement & Trading Executive your duties will include: - preparing and processing enquiries/invitations to offer, working to strict time constraints - negotiating best packages in relation to price, discounts and delivery - preparing and managing purchasing orders - maintaining reporting procedures on overseas visits To be considered for this position, you must have experience in a buying or trading role, and experience in an engineering role or at least, a technical aptitude. Whilst not essential, the ideal Buyer / Procurement & Trading Executive will have experience of procurement procedures used by major funding and aid agencies. Experience of selling a service would also prove beneficial to your application. For the right person, this role offers great scope for overseas travel.
