With over 100 years of experience and 8000 staff in 50 locations, our client is one of the UK's leading employers. From their nationwide network of laundries, the company provides the highest quality in workwear rental and linen hire, washroom products and healthcare services. They are now looking to recruit a Customer Service Manager for their Birmingham site. As a member of the management team, in this role you will effectively manage the service department whilst providing the highest standards of customer care. Business retention and growth are key priorities, as are working with budgeted guidelines and meeting set deadlines. Through close management of your team, you will ensure that debts are minimised, price increases and renewals to contracts are successfully negotiated and cancellations are kept to a minimum, therefore as the Customer Service Manager, you should be well organised, self motivated and professional. The successful Customer Service Manager will have good commercial acumen and experience in a business to business environment. You must also have experience of working with KPIs. Highly developed interpersonal skills are also essential, along with the ability to motivate and manage a team of people. Although not essential, a qualification in business management would be advantageous.
