IT Sales Consultant - Cisco Network Solutions Brighton, East Sussex (Office/field based) £20,000 - £30,000 Basic, OTE £40,000 - £60,000 DOE Our client is an innovative ICT provider specialising in the design, delivery and ongoing support of IT and communications solutions. Working with both the private and public sector, they offer a variety of strategically linked services. An opportunity has now arisen for an IT Sales Consultant to join their team. This is the ideal role for a talented sales professional with experience of selling Cisco network solutions to develop their career and earning potential. As an IT Sales Consultant you will be responsible for selling Cisco solutions, focusing on new business and selling to SMEs. The products you will sell involve voice and conferencing, network security and surveillance, network storage, wireless networks, routers and switches. Specifically, you will be involved in the entire sales process, from intelligence gathering and prospecting to negotiating, securing and providing account management for new and existing accounts. Applying a consultative approach, your duties will include: - business development, including identifying, developing and closing new and existing opportunities - building and maintaining excellent customer relationships - attending external meetings to qualify projects and opportunities - opening and managing accounts To be considered for this position, you must have experience of selling Cisco network solutions. You will also need to demonstrate proven B2B sales experience, an outgoing attitude and excellent communication skills. Additionally, as an IT Sales Consultant you should be quick to learn, ambitious, dedicated and motivated to succeed. You must also have a good level of computer literacy, a customer service focus and the ability to produce meaningful business cases. Whilst not essential, it would be beneficial to your application if you hold a Cisco Sales Expert (CSE) qualification (or are working towards it).
